Note for your records the non-emergency 911 system telephone number – #625-5011, #2 prompt followed by #8 prompt to speak with someone. If we change the gate code, this is the telephone number to access.
There is a separate system the Fire Department uses to access our gate code. The main business tel. # for the Fire Dept. is #206-386-1400 (Monday-Friday).
We are also in the East Precinct Police Department area. The main tel. # for Police East Precinct is #206-684-4300.
There is a website SMART911 that each homeowner should fill in with complete information. This provides details for each residence and will be accessed by our city wide emergency system when a 911 call comes in.
It is always recommended when placing an emergency 911 call to include the gate code when placing the call to ensure access, as noted by the 911 Dispatch.
